Hey, I’m Natalie.
I’m glad you’re here.
My Therapeutic Approach
My main focus as a therapist is to help people create a deeper, more meaningful relationship with themselves and others. I offer a collaborative, compassionate approach when working with clients and choose to navigate the counseling process from an understanding that we are all complex beings with thoughts, feelings, needs, and, ultimately, the desire to feel whole.
My work is focused on adults who have experienced relational and/or attachment trauma within their families of origin, which can lead to anxiety, depression, dissociation, and other mental health struggles.
My primary treatment modality is Internal Family Systems, which helps clients establish curiosity, presence, and courage as they seek to better understand themselves and work towards healing. I believe my clients already have everything they need for recovery and, through a relational approach, are able to access their full capacity to live a more enriched life.
I specialize in trauma, attachment, and anxiety. I work with clients who may be struggling to understand their behaviors, symptoms, and internal conflicts. During our sessions, I help you get curious about what is actually happening inside you (emotions, thoughts, sensations, needs, etc.) so you can feel calmer, healthier, and more connected.
About
I live in Memphis, TN with my husband and our 12 year old pup. We just welcomed our daughter in September 2025 and are fully in the joyful, complex, beautiful journey that is parenthood. My life looks like reading in abundance, going on walks around the city (often with an iced coffee), getting outside regularly, and traveling often. Play, laughter, and sarcasm are essential connectors for me and I incorporate them into my practice. I enjoy quality relational time with friends and family, which includes watching bad TV, eating delicious food, chatting about pop culture, and being creative together.
I value authenticity, honesty, integrity, kindness, and equality in all walks of life. I seek to prioritize these personally and professionally as they are a foundation for the lens through which I practice.
